My father took pictures of construction sites to use in presentations and publications. His camera interested me already at a very young age.
Then one day I said that I wanted to take the pictures for him. He said: "Alright, but you have to learn how to take photographs, because otherwise you are just wasting film." And he gave me a book so that I could learn about aperture, exposure, sensitivity and how to use light-meters.
In the following years I took many job-site photos for him and today I am taking them for my own purpose
In the meantime I have become interested in people and are now in pursuit of the perfect portrait. I haven't come by it yet and so it is fun to create ever new perceptions of character
